Our kitchen

Made by hand. Shipped with care.

Every apple starts the same way: a firm Granny Smith, a kettle of caramel, and a decision about what goes on top. No shortcuts, no assembly line.

How each apple gets made

Five steps. No cutting corners between them.

01

Apple selection

We use firm, tart apples. The stem stays on — it anchors the stick and holds the caramel coat steady.

02

Caramel kettle

The caramel is made in small batches. Temperature matters more than timing, so every batch gets a thermometer, not a clock.

03

Hand-dipping

Each apple is dipped once, spun to coat evenly, then held still until the caramel grabs. Rushing makes thin spots.

04

Toppings and setting

Toppings go on while the caramel is still tacky. Then the apple sets on parchment until the shell is firm and clean.

05

Gift-boxing

Each apple goes into its own slot. The box closes with a card slot facing out. It ships the same day it is boxed.

Who we are

A small kitchen with one strong opinion.

Caught Wanting started because caramel apples deserved better packaging. The apple was always the good part. The afterthought wrap, the crinkled cellophane, the gas-station display? Those had to go.

We make every apple to order and ship it the same week. The kitchen is small on purpose. A large batch means a warm apple going into a cold box, and that never ends well.

Dairy is in every apple. The full ingredient and allergen list is on every product page. If you have questions, write us at caught-wanting@sogoodmail.co.

What goes into every apple.

Caramel contains dairy. Every apple does. That is not a modifier or an exception. It is the baseline fact anyone with a dairy allergy needs to know before ordering.

Toppings vary by flavor combination. Each product page lists the full ingredient and allergen breakdown for that apple. If a flavor combination is new, the allergen list updates before it goes on sale.

Questions we have not answered yet? Email caught-wanting@sogoodmail.co and we will get back to you the same day.

Freshness is not a marketing word here.

Caramel apples have a short window at their best. We size our batches around that window, so what ships is what we would eat ourselves.

Made to order

No sitting in a case waiting. Each order triggers a new batch.

5-day freshness window

Best within five days of shipping. We tell you that upfront.

Protective packaging

Shipped in protective packaging designed to keep the apple stationary and cool.
